Mobile phones and Electronics: Mobile phones and other electronic gadgets have become a normal part of our lives, at times these devices can be very distracting and can hinder one from being fully present in their surroundings and conversations. It may save your relationships and assist in being more present by either turning your phone off or leaving it in another room when you are in the company of others.

  2. Recognition: By recognizing the challenges, one has overcome and how far they have advanced, acceptance of the current situation may become easier as we learn to live without judging or criticizing ourselves. Strive for change; and focus on what you can control.

  3. Nature Walks in nature, being fully present, may assist in grounding, clearing the mind, becoming more present and just learning to enjoy the moments without electronic gadgets.

  4. Focus Having the ability to focus on the task at hand, completing 1 task, then moving onto the next task, requires concentration. You may find you can actually complete your workload quicker as you begin to manage it better by completing one task at time.
